We can make a difference by helping more pets be seen by potential adopters looking for that special pet. With Rescue a pet many pets get another chance for adoption just by adding their photo on our site. Become a Volunteer Foster Parent

Adoption Fair, Public Events

Dog Foster Parent (DF)

This position involves caring for one of our dogs in your home while they are awaiting adoption. If you love dogs and want one of the most rewarding jobs we have, then look no further. There are certain requirements prior to being approved as a Foster Parent, including completing a Foster Parent Application and interview.

Training: Moderate Foster Parent Application Form

Shifts: On-Call

NOTE: The committees below work with the PUBLIC...

Ambassador (RA)

This position involves attending special events and educating the public about our mission and our Matchmaking Service. It includes gathering general information from a potential adopter and translating that information to our Matchmakers, who then facilitate a more thorough interview.

Training: Moderate

Shifts: Varied, depending on event schedule.

Location: Various locations determined by event.

Advertising & Sponsoring

Sponsors (SA)

This position involves Sponsoring our Rescue a pet website. Includes Creating flyers, brochures, Internet posting, advertisements, email newsletters, being creative and caling the attention to our pets at Rescue a pet website.

Training: Moderate

Skills: Must have Internet skills, advertising experience

Rescue a Pet Fundrising Store

Fundraising (FR)

This position involves: Help on rising funds for our Rescue a pet non-profit organization; in support of a shelter and foster mom needed supplies. Help us rescue more pets! How could you help? Have a pet product you like experiment? We will create a webpage section of your product on our store. $1 on each item sold will go towards our funding Organization for support. If you become a top seller in our store we will create you a free eBay store! If you are very Creative and like to make Items for pets, then add them to our Rescue a pet funding Store. Bandanas, Necklaces, Collars etc!! If you are an artist then show your talent! Already have a business? We will promote it on our funding store.

Training: Moderate Skills: Creativity, Sale experience
